Paralysis is a condition in which a person is unable to move one or all parts of the body (either partially or completely) due to a loss of strength and control over a muscle or group of muscles in that body part. The patient may experience tingling, numbness or cramps before losing muscle control. There may be muscle stiffness and altered sensations in the affected part of the body. Other symptoms of paralysis may depend on the area involved.
These symptoms include difficulty in breathing; loss of urine or bowel control; sexual problems; difficulty with talking, chewing, or swallowing; skin, muscle, and bone changes; behavioral changes; and problems in blood flow and heart rate.
What happens to the body when it is paralyzed?
That depends on the cause of the paralysis, but generally at least one of the following factors is in play:
- The brain is unable to relay a signal to an area of the body due to injuries to the brain.
- The brain is able to sense touch and other sensations in the body but is unable to effectively relay a response due to injuries in the spinal cord.
- The brain can neither send nor receive signals to an area of the body due to injuries in the spinal cord.
Homeopathic treatment of paralysis
Homeopathy is one of the most popular holistic systems of medicine. The selection of remedies is based upon the theory of individualization and symptoms similarity by using a holistic approach. This is the only way through which a state of complete health can be regained by removing all the signs and symptoms from which the patient is suffering. The aim of homeopathy is not only to treat constipation but to address its underlying cause and individual susceptibility. As far as therapeutic medication is concerned, several remedies are available to treat paralysis that can be selected on the basis of the cause, sensations, and modalities of the complaints. For individualized remedy selection and treatment, the patient should consult a qualified homeopathic doctor in person.
Thus they treat the disease in man whereas homeopathy treats the man in disease. That means all the difference.
